Fallout 76 was about 2 years before 2077's release, and thats where it all started really, maybe even the tail end of that stupid gamer gate shit. People started looking for every single flaw to shit on as hard as they could. It's all part of outrage culture, imo
But getting back to the point, I played through 2077 twice at launch and didnt crash or have any major game breaking bugs. Some typical buggy games issues, but nothing that kept me from having fun with it despite its issues, but im a different generation of gamer since I start pc gaming in 1991. All the missing features are mostly in the game now, still has a few bugs, but still looks and plays great. Only thing i'll fault cdpr for was releasing it on last gen and lying about the performance. They never needed to do that, the game would have sold well without last gen. I think it just tipped it all over the edge.
