>WB planned for a $175m domestic opening and pressured outlets to report that
>opened at $122m, worse than The Batman
>people are blaming Gunn for shitting on conservatives and MAGA during the press tour, film did poorly in red states
>lack of star power. People are saying Nicholas Hoult flopped with audiences - Lex should’ve been an older, well known star
>Superman clone flopped. Needed a better superpowered villain
>Not enough sex appeal. Audiences say Rachel Brosnahan was too covered up in “pilgrim clothes” and The Architect had no sex appeal.
Do you agree with audiences?
>advertising focused too much on James Gunn instead of the leading cast
Should James Gunn get another chance and do you agree with these general audience complaints?

Jews run hollywood. They Jew the process all over. They sell themselves ads for their own movies at insane rates on their other media platforms and manipulate the figures to present whatever picture is most profitable long term on whichever side of their business benefits most from it at that moment. They will tank figures so they can present a loss in year of release then make bank as a property continues to generate profit in perpetuity. They also do this to Jew actors and production folk out of percentage deals on the back end. If half the budget goes to ads, and they buy and sell those ads to themselves, it is a bullshit con game for the purpose of tax manipulation.

Gunn forgot the proper structure to a plot. It felt like a mish mash smorgasbord that was meant to be an episodic tv series which was squished together at the last second into a lumpy baby food of a film which didn't know where it was going and failed to coalesce. A story when done properly needs to move toward a locus which it ultimately resolves. He didn't know if it was meant to be about Elon Luthor, Netanyahu, Fascist Kryptonian parents vs. Salt of the Earth American parenting, Superman joining forces with the Justice Gang, Superman the Illegal being a truer American, Luthor's pocket universe and dabbling in interdimensional travel, ultraman, or a bevy of other plot strands competing with each other never satisfyingly tying together to put a bow on this flick.

You realize these people never do interviews or give comments over the weekend, right? He likely said this Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday when positive (shill) reviews were coming out. Now the real dollars and cents are coming in and there's guaranteed to be a course correction, again. How major a course correction is yet to be seen but when this movie ends its run at $450 million the tune will certainly change

Then why cast a 35+ year old actress as Lois? 5 years from now, when they make a sequel, she'll be older than Amy Adams was during the filming of BvS. In the movie, Lois is supposed to be in her mid-20s, given that she and Clark have about three years of post-college work experience at the Daily Planet, not some 35-year old cat mom.

Seconded. That served zero purpose except to antagonize a segment of potential viewers needlessly. It was a clear unforced error.

>nope you don't need that
Disagree. It doesn't need to be crass, but people are sick of the puritanical approach to things straight guys find appealing, and some simple and sparing nods to that would have supported the idea that the movie is supposed to be fun. The Architect character could easily have been sexier without being outright grotesque.

He's the kind of unimaginative moron who just makes short-sighted cost savings cuts, forever cheapening and degrading the brand for quick profits. The landlord equivalent would be the guy that buys the high end condos, cuts all the perks, installs cards swipers to pay for elevator rides, and replaces the pool with a vape-shop.
