>tackles a human African guy through walls of concrete
>"THE BAT IS DEAD. CONSIDER THIS MERCY"
>"I'LL TAKE YOU IN WITHOUT BREAKING YOU, WHICH IS MORE THAN YOU DESERVE!"
>starts needlessly tossing Bruce around like a ragdoll instead restraining him and articulating in plain English what the situation is - worth a try even if he his mind was too mired in fear and hate to listen at that moment
>pretty damn cavalier seeing the destroyed Metropolis after what was 9/11 on steroids rather than filled with rage and grief, and certainly zero of that present when he realises Zod is still alive
>brings the fight into Smallville, never a moment reflected on like how much he has to learn about power control and staying cool
>never any reflection on the heedlessness of the destruction the Zod fight caused
They certainly did not do themselves any favours with shit like this, like even in terms of the interpretation of Superman as a pained and misunderstood god that is always feeling isolated from the world, with shit like this it's like they were courting scrutiny.

M8, most of these are tackled in BvS tho, Superman doesn't fight Doomsday in Metropolis because of Zod, and he also doesn't kill without a really good need (he saves Lex and kills Doomsday). And he tries to talk to Batman, but like the spicdette said "Known what men like him undestand? A fist", Superman tries to beat some reason in his head.
