Augustus’s monologues got old really fast. Even worse that they didn’t trust the retard audience to not get bored of them so they always have him in some weird gimmick like the spinning machine just to keep the keys jiggling in front of the toddler that is the modern American audience. By season 2 I was fast forwarding them. It’s pure 2deep4u midwit slop, like the kind your stoner cousin shares on Facebook

You're right. I hated Poet for the same reason. I couldn't tell if his poetry was supposed to be considered good, or what. The cons on the show seemed to respect it. They didn't laugh at him. It was horrible though. It was awful 90s Def Jam Poetry reject shit. He was dumb as fuck and his poetry sucked. I hated the character and I hated his shitty poetry.
