Just watched this.

Felt more like a parody of Superman than actually Superman. There was all these other heroes here that made Superman look like a chump. The change tho his lore was lame. And more than anything, the heart was missing.

Where's all the fun Clark Kent stuff of Clark trying to save people and stuff while keeping his identity a secret like in the Chris Reeves films or TAS? Where's the fun banter between Lois and Clark with her suspecting he's Superman... The movie lacked Soul. That wasn't Superman.

Execs and capefags have now spent over a decade arguing it's IMPOSSIBLE to adapt Superman unless you reinvent him because he's too boring, as if the Donner film and it's sequel never existed and never were huge successes. It's a sign of the times.
