Black hole is the last disney movie I liked. I still rewatch it. I hope this remake fails.

Wright hasn't made a single good movie since he stopped working with Simon Pegg. (Except the Sparks Brothers documentary).

The Black Hole is an amazing film not a "Star Wars ripoff". It had much more in common with 50s-60s sci-fi like Forbidden Planet or the show Lost in Space or 2001 a Space Odyssey and thats what makes it such a good film. I'd rather see a prequel than a remake about the Cygnus and how Reinhart did that to the crew or a sequel about the Heaven/Hell stuff, but a remake with "Interstellar" style Black Hole effects could be interesting, but if they try to redesign the Cygnus or the robots or even the Palomino I will be pissed, the "look" of the film makes it iconic but there's such a good story there too.

This level of kino set design will never be equalled so they shouldn't even bother trying.

Edgar Wright is the wrong director for Black Hole. There is only one director who truly understands the assignment.
