It's not bad, it's just something else. A cash grab, for a start. If they haven't fucked up the well-estabilished community theories (like Neo and Trinity weren't dead, went with the cloning instead). I have no qualms with Trinity saving Neo, considering "they're better together" and she's very motivated by love to transcend herself, and "Neo is drowned by the Matrix", specially considering that stance of the Matrix was designed to fuck him over. From all the things that I didn't like it, the main thing was the poor quality of the choreography and the contrived neo-Morpheus they could have done something else instead with it but went on nostalgia baiting.

It's supposed to be based on the real world. They can make anything that works in the real world. They could'nt be invisible and have homing daggers for all we know, but maybe a F22 Raptor?
