For it to work, the girl has to be the right one and she has to be in correct mood. That's one of the fantasies, a relentless pursuit, but if she's not into it at all, it's only miserable for her.

Modern progressives make it hard for people to procreate. There are even laws being made (and passed in my country) where it's illegal to make moves on other people if they're not into it. When I worked up the nerve to kiss my first girlfriend the first thing she said was "Finally." Woman WANT to be taken. Not raped, but they want to feel as if they are lovely chaste prizes who inspire so much need in their lover that they're unable to hold themselves back anymore. It still thrives in some places outside the US; Japan for one. But a lot of white westerners are in serious danger of having their heredity exterminated by fear of gender roles and mating rituals.

*I'd like to further add that the popular image of the caveman bonking the woman over the head and dragging her back to his cave is wrong. Homo sapiens are one of the few species with concealed ovulation; women are able to completely hide their fertility cycles, and as a result have dictated primary control of reproduction in human evolution. No matter that men seem to have the political control of societies and households, all human beings today are descended from females who were the biological deciders for their successful mating and offspring-producing pairings.

I'm not completely sure. I can find other copies of it online, posted to social media spaces, but I can't find any other variation using those same panels. Popeye is out of copyright now so there are "legal" continuations of Popeye comics (in addition to the usual memes anyone could make), but the style looks convincingly oldschool. I've seen it occur in galleries alongside other black and white comics that seem perfectly authentic, so barring any sudden revelations I'm going to lean towards it being an actual real comic.
