Prehistoric Planet is a great nature documentary, but it still gets mogged by Walking with Dinosaurs 1999 in numerous ways.
>Chronological epochs per episode is a much better overview of the Dinosaur era, and gives much more variety.
>Ultra-realistic live props just give the added oomph, especially to corpses like the stripped baby triceratops and the Ornithocheirus
>Walking with Dinosaurs is much more violent and brutal, basically African Hunting Dogs tier violence. Plays way better to what you loved about Dinosaurs as a kid.

>Literally the GOAT TV soundtrack of all fucking time. Literally the music that played in most peoples heads when they read Dinosaur books over the 20th century.

Prehistoric Planet 3 hopefully takes a more WWD1999 approach because the whole planet earth thing is great, but doesn't have the narrative or memorable staying power that WWD did.
