Sometime in the late 2000s or early 2010s. TV shows like The Office or movies like Pineapple Express had major characters that were dating high school girls. It was played for laughs and not treated as normal, but it wasn't something people lost their minds over or thought too much about. If movies/tv shows tried that today there would be a ton of controversy. Sometime between the 80s-90s it became less acceptable and then by 2010 it started to be thought of as outright unthinkable.
