the fact they cut to humans deflated any potential this series had. It was always about feeling like a Planet Earth documentary but with dinos. Other dino documentaries have attempted and have always failed because they cut to some faggot in a hat and it breaks all immersion/tension and makes the cgi look worse in comparison. Those original walking with dinosaur series all the way up to the caveman documentary are the epitome of what a documentary should be when tackling things that aren't tangible anymore. Any nature documentary that shows some faggot in a big hat is gonna suck cock. If the intent is to immerse you into these environments seeing some dumb faggot makes it all fall apart.
