What was the last film you watched and what did you think of it?

I watched Margin Call and enjoyed the atmosphere but was disappointed in how empty it was ultimately. Blahblahblah shot of a janitor blahblahblah he buries his dog.

The Earrings of Madame de... I liked it but I was somewhat disappointed. It was supposed to be the best Ophuls film, but I enjoyed Letter from an Unknown Woman more.

What bothered me the most were those dubbed parts. I think all de Sica lines were actually dubbed too.

Malkovich was good in parts, but the script was too dumb and Eastwood's character was unbelievable.

Outland with Connery, 81. Not bad. Needs a restoration, but the sound is good on the bluray.

Pretty pretty good. Cast was magic and Sopranos wouldn't have existed without it.

Cohen and Tate

Very odd film with a weird tone. Didn't know Adam Baldwin was active in the 80s, only really know him from Firefly. Roy Sheider as a bad guy also very strange. The kid was infuriating. 6/10

The French Dispatch
It was weird and random I donโ€™t think I really understood the main thread linking everything together.
The different mediums used were cool I guess.
I also watched it with sound off and captions on because I was listening to a podcast but I expect everyone sounded as I imagined them to.

It was a fun family oriented movie. Dunno why it gets such a bad rap.

Dan Ackroyd did the Ghostbuster video. That should have been the end of it (special exception: Car Parts magnate in tommy Boy)

Someone here said it was "fantastic". It was mildly interesting indie slop. The second act was really one note and kind of a chore since you knew what needed to happen before anything can really happen. The ending was okay but too little too late. Mid but worth the watch I guess.
