Reboot, remove the magical school shit, lean into urban fantasy, keep the gay cousin mentor for laughs, solve her friends' problems with magic, have one redhead friend who's portrayed as a dorky nerd but would be obviously 1000x more desirable than Sabrina in the real world, and keep the satanic elements for jokes. The problem the show has is importing these serious elements into an overtly ridiculous setting, and intentionally downplaying the comedy so they can "talk" to the audience about social justice.

Get rid of the "cousin" who is clearly not blood related. Get rid of the comedy fat aunt she literally does nothing. Don't make Sabrina go out with random Chad's to emasculate Harvey. Maybe get rid of Harvey altogether or just make him a Char. Get rid of the patriarchy theme and plotline that makes no sense and don't make her literally god level powerful out of nowhere. As a kid I loved both the sitcom and cartoon which were obviously more comedy focused. The trailer for this show made it seem like it would be horror focused but it turned out to be corny teen drama. So if I had to change anything it would be more horror. The same thing for Wednesday, a horror trailer but the actual show was just teen drama and comedy. I'm learning to not trust Netflix trailers anymore.
