>>212789981>The worst episode out of them is the finale, which Larry wrote.Which Larry accepts, and he owns up to. The problem is that Larry was trying to write an actual god damn story, with character arcs, and an actual conclusion. It's anathema to the show's format.
Elaine was gonna burst out she loved Jerry on the plane? What? They had nothing going on. She and Puddy were perfect. They toyed with the idea of some kind of plane crash leading to a limbo ending, which is actually became the premise of Lost? And Jerry and George get to go to LA to finally get their sit-com picked up even though NBC turned them down like 10 years ago? Why would they just suddenly give him a second chance?
That kind of story arc also would need some kind of a build up. Jerry gets a career resurgance the whole season, and suddenly he's getting more offers.
And why not have Jerry and George actually succeed in their sit com show? Why not? Fuck it. It's the finale! Give them some bread crumbs.
Give a little ending where you show where they all end up. George marries unhappily with 3 kids, Jerry never marries, has 2 kids, Puddy and Elaine have 2 kids, etc.
