It's because Furiosa had to use a different story structure. The reason Fury Road is good is the same reason Road Warrior (Mad Max 2) is good. They are continues story told in one piece, that makes the movie and the action very easy to digest.

It was the best movie of 2024 imo, but it's always going to be compared to Fury Road.

it was a prequel, but yeah they waited too long but that's because Warner Bros are cheap idiots that tried o cheat Miller out of money and they couldn't make anything new until they got all of the legal issues cleared up.

I don't think it was shit, but theres an inherent problem with any prequel, if any of this mattered then the story should have probably started there, and since you already know where it all ends it feels a little pointless.
Hemsworth with a nose appliance hamming it up was the best part.

After rewatching Fury Road again after Furiousa, I felt like Furiousa is a much better film. I also played the game. Its pretty good.

Don't understand why people keep typing this
Are road trips any less fun because you know the destination? Do you hate roller coasters and refuse to ride them because they operate in a loop? Or are you a normal human being that can understand that the journey is as important as the destination?

Isn't that how it usually happens? They made sequels with the idea of "passing the torch" (aka: replacing the straight white male) for a new "modern" (non-white + non-straight + non-male) character. It can work, but once the new character(s) are on their own... the only ones interested are the mentally cuckolded fans of the franchise and the "new" fans who joined with the last product. It's rarely enough unless it's a giant franchise like star wars.

They turned it off after awhile, you sperg. Do you think they will let everyone eat the food as well? I love both and thought dementus was a great character. The tent nomad was a vibe.

>Mad Max in giant letters in the center of the image
>Max in the background wearing a mask so you can't even see his face
>"Stronk womyn" looking directly at the viewer in the center of the image

This shit would have been alright if it was actually a Mad Max film, but no, they cuck the shit out of max and tried to bait and switch people to see a "Furiosa" film, which fucking NOBODY gave a shit about, nor should they.

Fuck that piece of shit movie, every "girlboss" film like it, and every single one of you castrated faggots that throw your money at this trash.

Furiosa wasn't shit. It was just disjointed. The first chapter with her as a little girl drags on and so does the ending; but the bulk of the movie where she's working for Immortan Joe is pretty solid.

Furiosa just isn't that great of a character despite Hollywood's preoccupation with girl bosses I thought she was the weakest part of Fury Road.

Road Warrior > Mad Max = Fury Road = Thunderdome > Furiosa.

I've enjoyed all of them.
