I dont even care if Bob Dylan was an entitled snob, emotional manipulator, gaslighter and womanizer, like this whole film is about. I just wish this had more depth than a fucking romcom. Jesus Christ.

there was plenty of subtext throughout, his put on mystique, jealousy for his song writing, growing out of his old material

Ive found out that a lot of women who see this movie think he used Joan Baez. Joan Baez was a poster child for folk music not the real deal. She hardly wrote any songs of her own. Dylan was signed to Columbia with no help from Baez. What really got Dylan attention is that he wrote his own songs. How could Baez be the voice of a generation when she had nothing to say?

Also, this movie portrays the myth of bob dylan. He was sleeping around with loads of women at the time and the story is messier than the movie presents.

Bob Dillon is a faggot and chalamet is faggot as well. Wasn’t much hope for this to begin with
