i could probably find a year if i weren't lazy but maybe even still find a movie beyond that year that is an exception. Wherever that line is, there is a side where every capeshit movie protagonist has the same quirky reddit humor personality. And the other side, the sovl side, has xmen, raimi spidey, dark knight, blade (if that counts, i mean i know it's a marvel comic but idk. am i the only one that thinks it's weird that guardians of the galaxy is capeshit by association? it's just a scifi movie. why isn't star wars capeshit at that point)
