Casino has more characters to follow so it has more re-watch potential. Goodfellas is probably better from a narrative perspective but has a lower re-watch potential because the story is so linear.

Agree, it's executed so well but stuff like the overused music video montages add more dazzle than depth.
Incredibly entertaining flick but it perfected some techniques that are best described as "tricks": it's a lot easier to spend budget on "Sunshine of your Love" and have DeNiro smoke a cigarette than it is to do it dramatically.
Also heavily, heavily abuses the voiceover to get away with the breakneck pacing and glossing over so much that gave way to stylish montage-slop.
