I'd rate the first two on par with the ip man films, they are really good. They don't make stuff like this anymore.

I've seen it twice because I somehow forgot I've seen it. It's a surprisingly forgettable movie. The story is super-thin, the characters are rather hollow and lack any form of depth (except for the thieving friend). While he's skilled at martial arts, Tony Jaa lacks the charisma Chan and Lee has. There's next to zero banter, I don't remember a single dialogue. His patented knee-move is very cool but sadly overused. Every guy he fights has a pillow on the head as a padding. Then finale in the cave is kinda boring considering it's supposed to be the culmination.

Don't get me wrong, if you're a fan of martial arts its worth seeing. But I'm just surprised how forgettable it was.
