I'd go with Nobody's Fool. 1994 ensemble film about a small town in upstate New York, starring Paul Newman, Bruce Willis, Jessica Tandy, Melanie Griffith, PSH and others. Got Golden Globe recognition but wasn't big enough for the Oscars. Really a low-key great film.
