I don't get why you fags hated this. It was a genuinely good action movie. I literally cannot see why you were spamming all that hatred.

It was too long
Lil' Furiosa takes up too much time
it felt like left over material from Fury Road instead of being its own film (like all the other mad max flicks)

Where can I find more of these concept arts?
>it felt like left over material from Fury Road instead of being its own film
That's because the script was written in the meantime of waiting Fury Road to get going. It was on pre-production for almost 20 years.

Probably the totally uninteresting premise and characters. Also, a fair measure of hating the idea of a prequel to the first Furiosa movie. IN 4 hours of movie, there is about 35 minutes of Mad Max.

I have to agree.
it was a lot of fun with dementus and little furiousa. it was great. really great
once dementus disappears and furiousa grows up it kinda becomes shit.

I preferred the parts withittle furiosa.

the movie really slows down when furiosa grows up.
then she teams up with the guy in the truck. it becomes kinda boring.

I like Furiosa despite its flaws, but watching it back-to-back with Fury Road was like a punch to the eyes. WAY more CGI because they shot in Assfailia for the tax credit instead of Africa like Fury Road, and they used cheap pajeet CGI at that.

That's because it's one long chase scene. The pace didn't bother me for Furiosa since it reminded me of Conan the Barbarian (the stories are very similar) and Conan is a slow film, but it's one of my favorites.

But yea there was a concerted movement of chuds that were shitting on this movie and were cheering on it flopping.
Kind of weird how the brand poses as generic action slop but is actually very sophisticated underneath which scares the brainlets.

but midway through when furiosa goes from war boy to rig driver, it kinda fizzled out.
I enjoy watching it, but there are so many scenes skip of adult furiosa.

>It was a genuinely good action movie.
It was a Furiosa origin story. Whether it's """"""""good""""""""" is immaterial. Everybody got their fill of Furiosa all the way back in Fury Road and never wanted to hear about that character again.
This was one of the easiest to predict flops in movie history. The moment you told people what the name of the movie was, everybody checked out mentally. No one wanted to know the secret fucking birth story of Furiosa from Fury Road.

The admittedly reasonable assumption that it would revolve around Furiosa herself. It actually didn't, that's why it's a good movie. It was a wide view of the Wasteland and its different factions. The best parts were the conflicts between Dementus and Joe. Jack was also extremely based. The worst parts were anything with Furiosa center stage. Weird.

Miller made the movie for women but he forgot that mostly men watch Mad Max. 28% of women who watched Furiosa were wives and girlfriends who were dragged kicked and screaming to the cinema by their men.

The film wasn't feminist, unlike Fury Road. There's no exploration of power dynamics nor sexual opression; the movie is mostly about trauma and the struggle between survival vs humanity.

I'm glad it flopped because 1. I don't want any more Mad Max movies without Mel and 2. George originally hired a dindu to play Jack, but the actor dropped out at the last minute and the only decent actor they could get was the guy who ended up playing Jack.

It was okay, but as a prequel the comparison to Fury Road is inescapable and unfavorable. That said, even on its own, it's pretty meandering and doesn't reveal anything especially interesting about Furiosa as a character. They even off-screen her losing her arm in a stupid way.

It looked substantially worse than fury road and the skinny chick is worse than Charlize in every way. It's just a downgrade across the board. Plus it was an "answering questions that didn't need answering in a way that makes your world feel small and retarded" sort of prequel a la star wars 1-3.

It was needless and gay. The fact that Miller felt to include a Max stand-in says it all.
All the feminists journos were letting him smell his own farts after FR, and while that treatment of subject matter wasn't bad, it wasn't what interested audiences at all.
