No one could make it well.
Apple TV can't make anything well, and literally no one has it.

I don't know about you, degenerates, but I for one believe they will botch it as they do with most classics these days

Yes, but I haven't read Neuromancer in like 25 years. Is it actually good or was it the kid-goggles?

The novel is an embarassing mess. I doubt anyone hating on the potential adaptation has ever read it.
But 10 episodes is too much. Fuck are they going to do with them?

It's good, but there has been a lot of cyberpunk in popculture recently, so it'd be difficult to pull it off now as being fresh. Also, they will surely make it pozzed. The casting itself already features a DEI group.
However, as much as Gibson was very innovative with the language and ideas (now run-of-the-mill, as others have borrowed from him heavily), the text is not flowy and so it is not an easy read if you go beyond the story.
It is somewhat relevant with the recent advent of AI. Also, what seemed like a distant dystopian gfuture back then has become a really close reality to us now.

Wrong, The story is great, especially if they continue with the whole Sprawl trilogy. Difficult to put on screen? For sure. It will probably be a horrrible mess.

You think they'll make the pot smoking space Jamaicans white because accurately portraying Rastafarian religion would be wacist according to white liberal women?
