Just a reminder that Superman (1978) made six times it's budget back worldwide. Snyderfags and Gunnjeets both lost.
>>212833943 (OP)Yeah when the economy was 6 times better and money had actual value, i would guess you could make a good amount of revenue
>>212834026Erm, just pull yourself up by your bootstraps kiddo youโre not trying hard enough I owned a home by the time I was 35
>>212833943 (OP)Would as many people gone to see the movie if tickets cost $16 dollars in โ78 muh adjusted for inflation shills?
>>21283402670's was nasty levels of inflation tho.
>>212837113Tickets in 1978 were $2.25!
>>212833943 (OP)>doesn't say Snyderjeets Nice try, Rajesh. You're still brown.
>>212833943 (OP)Maybe for starters. Superman probably sold another billion in merchandising and spun off a bunch of other shit, like the MCU, and a bunch of lame ass superheroes.
>>212837224Well calling both Jeets would've been redundant. (Which they are, but that goes without saying)
It used to be that movies were constantly innovating ways to create effects that had never been put to screen before. The whole schtick with this movie was that it would "Make you believe a man can fly." Then it actually pulled off the promised spectacle. There isn't really any new ground to cover like that now that CGI has been perfected. Everyone knows movies can pull off essentially any effect you can imagine, it's just a matter of budget.
