No it's great. 1. You build habits that you enjoy as a loner that are less practicable when you get married.
2. The bigger issue is that you get into a marriage with someone where you can't truly be yourself. You can survive having to do shit that is less than ideal with the kids and wife at certain times, but if can never really be yourself in the off periods, then you will want to kill yourself.

Not true. The plan was always to "get rid of her" at the end of the season. How could they possibly do a George wedding like some typical sitcom? And they could only take the engagement storyline so far. Her death was a harsh way out, but the engagement was going to be done with one way or another by seasons end.
