It started as a comfy mix of detective work and a soap opera, with great atmosphere,
Then they messed it up as it progressed.
They made characters more boring and could not think of how to continue the story.
And it didn't help that Lynch added his retarded magic stuff to the plot.
Still, one of the great series of the 90s. If only for the good parts.
