How come no one called this Superman, Murder man? There's a scene in the episode Apokalips Now where he survives an explosion and flies off leaving the victims burning. Reminded me of the court scene in BvS kek. People who say this is like Gunn's Superman are highly disingenuous

If anything that entire episode is was the blueprint for Snyder. Even the mother boxes were in it and I had zero memory of that as a kid

Justice League's opening episodes have the entire League - including Batman - just kill a bunch of alien invaders in cold blood. Not parademons, not thoughtless animals, individual aliens with free will. At one point one of them grabs an alien (fervently trying to escape before he dies) with a grappling hook and forces him back, and then the alien dissolves into goo.

Man of Murder is just a /tv/ meme that successfully trolled you. MoS is a bad take on Superman for several reasons but Zod's death isn't one of them, that scene was actually done kinda well.
