Why would the detectives suspect this 17 year old kid of being the murderer? If I was a cop I would immediately suspect this to be the work of a grown man, late 20s to 30s, maybe even 40s, who has done this multiple times in the past. Not some twerp teenager. The sheer skill to kill someone in a busy hotel, and dismember the body, clean everything up and leave no evidence behind, and not be caught on any cameras screams professional.

The editing in this show is some of the worst I've seen. Between the non stop flashbacks to stuff that just happened every time some retard thinks about something, and the garbage music played to distract the zoomer faggots that would otherwise be watching Tiktok, I just can't stand this piece of shit.

The non stop quips (Dexter even broke character to laugh at his own one liner) and the most obvious foreshadowing possible make this less of a resurrection, and more a haunting of a ghost that hasn't accepted its own death.

The detective woman is an awful actress, and her character is a retards version of a misunderstood genius, who has yet to make any intelligent deductions, yet is talked about by every character including Dexter as if she's Will Graham.

The legion of doom plot that the rest of the show is so far removed from the first couple seasons of Dexter, that at this point, the most logical explanation for how shit this show has become, is it's just another shit fever dream Dexter has as he bleeds out and gradually loses brain function.

At this point I'm just hate watching this turd. At least it's kind of so bad it's good. Unlike the last few seasons of Dexter, at least it's not too boring, just written by retards who clearly don't respect the original. What this show is missing is the cop formula.

Original Dexter was just a cop show but the protagonist was also a killer.

Resurrection is also missing the ensemble cast of the original show. It's just Dexter and Harrison. Dexter had Batista, Doakes, Masuka, Quinn, LaGuerta, his babysitter, Rita, etc. All these relationships, all these people for Dexter to interact with. In Resurrection Dexter is just alone, he has nobody. He even refuses to talk to Harrison (although this will change eventually).

What a real revival show needs is a full cast of likable characters for Dexter to interact with. The charm of the original show is all these friends he has that don't know he is a serial killer.

Okay just finished the original show for the first time. Last season was definitely pretty shit. I was enjoying the right even after season 2 but this last season is easily the worst even if you were to remove the last 2 episodes. The pacing is just so rushed, plotlines and new characters so forced. Only highlight was seeing Lem from The Shield.

Maybe it could've been better if the plot threads were split between 2 entire seasons to flesh it out more but nah. Too forced, too many retarded justifications for shit, too many new characters. Season 7 had similar problems, hannahs relationship does not feel genuine especially compared to rita or lumens.

I don't care if the new mini-series have bad writing, at least be entertaining.
