Yes, but doesn't mean that running the show is cheap. Maybe Colbert is asking for 10M per month. How do you make bank with that?

Who cares its still 50 more million people in the USA since Letterman, Letterman has 7.5 million and CBS lost 40 million on his show. God fuck liberals are always looking to be victims, 66K likes whatever. They should all be cancelled its a dead art form.

The show cost millions to produce and only for 2 million views? As said, you got hacks on Youtube with five times the amount of viewers

10/10 subtle bait OP.
I think Colbert had been fading hard in the last few years and they finally had a scapegoat reason to cut his contract.

in a two-party political system designed around wedge issues there IS no non-partisan position.
that's the whole point.

It is political, but thatโ€™s the pride of doing business. CBS was rightfully being sued for election interference, they had to settle the lawsuit somehow. Perhaps donโ€™t interfere with elections and push propaganda if you donโ€™t like it? I like how the left is upset with CBS for settling the lawsuit but not for pushing the straight up propaganda that got them sued in the first place.

His contract is most likely much more expensive than the other two.
Also they can put someone else in that spot who isn't hated by half the population.
