Depends on their budgets, but I think the general consensus is that Cap4 at least definitely was a flop. As an aside, I hate the way "flop" has been universalized into anything that underperforms expectations. It's not a sports game. Not everything is either flop or a hit.

It's still on track for 900 - 1.1 it depends how it does in Europe this weekend and if the heat comes down. If it hits 500, then it's 150 over cost and is considers a hit. Gunn actually ran the movie hyper efficiently. Everything including marketing is 350-360 range. The actors are counting on residuals off profits is a big way they kept cost down. I think superman only made 750k but has huge back end on profit
