Man of Steel makes a compelling argument for Murderman being pure nightmare fuel. If I lived in that world, I would fear Murderman too and would Lex Luthor/Batman to kill him.

I saw this man helping an old lady cross the street and super man showed up and shattered his legs telling him that the weak don't deserve help before he used his laser vision to atomize the old lady while laughing. All in all, 5/10 encounter with Murderman, I've seen and been through a lot worse when he is near.

You'd think it would be contained to Metropolis but noooo, one time I witnessed a phone theft in London and suddenly there was a scream of rage above us - it was Superman. He divebombed towards the thief was superspeed. He caused a shockwave when he hit the ground and killed 63 people - I was among the injured. A broken arm and several ribs, a concussion, etc.
