What stuck with me is the sequence where David Bowie's character in Hunger (1983) starts to age rapidly. It's not done super fast, but over a period of time and it just seems very anxiety inducing rather than slapstick. In the end Catherine Deneuve (his vampire master) just entombs him since he shrivels up into a mummy-like state
