My gf thought it was the most depressing movie ever made.

The movie is supposed to move you to action, the ultimate irony is that all the pathetic losers on this board who don’t like, hate, or have disdain for this movie, are 100% doomed to live their lives out as worse version of Caden, minus the professional success and merger interest that women have in him.

It’s just hilarious to me how hard the movie is screaming at you to do whatever you can to avoid his mistakes, and every single critic will make them all, and worse, wasting their lives here, ruining their own existence over nothing. I had it on my backlog for a decade, then somehow ended up watching I'm Thinking of Ending Things first. And then I watched it.
