Kimmel meanwhile is the King of a dying empire as Colbert gets cancelled. Late Night Broadcast TV was once a staple of culture, now Podcasts hold that staple. 15-20 years ago Adam Carolla was Joe Rogan, frankly without Adam there is no Joe Rogan, there is no Barstool Sports, there's no Cumtown.
They both have complex legacies, but Adam Carolla only faded because the medium became so vast. Jimmy only rose to the the top because the pool was drained.
