In France, we have just stopped caring everything, even politics, so that is why you see little outrage or insult towards anything. If something is French (or Belgian, for that matter) and is not good, we just ignore it, unless it is terrible, which we then laugh at it (e.g Taxi 5). That is just the way things are, plus a lot of people just watch older films because we have enough good stuff to last us a while.

I am probably going to move to Austria soon because of the situation here, not to get political about things, but France is shit these days.
