She's starring in the new spider man movie, pretty sure Marvel/Disney waited for her to be done with Stranger Things to cast her. She also starred in The Whale which won like 50 awards. She does Broadway stuff too, and people seem to enjoy her performances on stage.

I watched a tiny bit of O'Dessa and thought she was good in it, got distracted and never finished it. She was good in The Whale, didn't detract form the film in the slightest. She was literally the only good thing about Fear Street imo. I don't care about her having a thing black men.
