So yes, he is literally incapable of even feeling love, much less being loved. If you could read, you would notice he says exactly this.
He does not lament his inability to feel and he is not pining for a waifu, he simply understands that he literally has no place in his world and doesnt really care if he dies since he doesnt even derive pleasure from killing and maiming like his instincts tell him to. Its an interesting mirror of the Killing Joke also authored by Alan Moore. The difference is that the Joker revels in his inhumanity even though he regrets it at times, while Hyde looks for a way out on his terms
