Need help rediscovering a foreign animated movie.

The movie centers around a man (potentially a priest) who has to raise his sister's daughter.
The sister is a porn star who is killed by either the mob or some powerful figure.
This movie was made pre 2010, but I have no reference other than this.
I do not believe it's anime related and it might be easter european animation, but I also could be wrong.
I remember the movie being not particularly great, but it was enjoyable enough that 15+ years later I'd like to rewatch it and see if maybe it was worth talking about.
