If this had flopped did people really think the Snyder verse would come back?

No. That ship sailed as soon as he stepped down from JL and Whedon got involved. It's a small miracle the Snyder Cut was released.

Only retards...so yeah, probably.
Snyder was basically out the moment WB got Whedon to direct JL, the Snyder Cut was basically something that was made for HBO Max to have more content, Netflix used to do the same back in the day.

the actual big test will be if super girl does well, if it does then gunn can set up the universe. if superman had failed WB would have been sold off for parts and someone else would have bought DC

It’s funny because anyone rational would know the chances would be better if it didn’t flop
The only way they’d ever see Affleck or Cavill again would be multiverse crap down the line like Crisis on Infinite Earths or Kingdom Come

It's on track to end up somewhere between 650-700 million.
It's being carried hard by the domestic gross.

Not beating the film you've spent over a decade bitching about is flopping. The DCU never should have been a thing. And The Batman and Elseworlds is the answer to your question.

It only gets to 600 if the domestic gross reaches 400M, which isn't happening due to Fantastic Four. It's going to end like at 550-580M. If this movie cost 100 million less, this would be a great number.

Nah. It's almost at 200 million international already. If it made 400 million domestically then it would be over 571M even if it didn't make another cent internationally. But it's legging out everywhere decently, except for Asia.

I think DC has a little less fatigue around it than Marvel does. But overall, yeah. My guess it the movie will end up making 750-800 million at the box office. But probably won't top Chicken Jockey.

That's a good point. I revise my statement to 650-700 million. I didn't take into account the overseas numbers. But it seems too early to tell.

my soimale nerd friends called it 'mid', they didnt hate it, but they regret paying for it, they said its a worthy pirate. Lol.

They were fans of MoS aswell, as was i, despite its flaws.

It is a flop. Fantastic Four will break its legs this week. It will barely get 500 million.

you're even more delusional than the tranny astroturfers raiding this place from groomercords.

FF WILL 100% flop, there's no way it wont, its a flop-franchise, they only churn out new movies for legal reasons. Superman will easily outdo that turd.

It should have been at 200 int. for opening weekend since it opened in every territory
>But it's legging out everywhere decently
It opened so low everywhere outside the US that it doesn't matter. For example it held well in Germany this week but it's going to gross less than Morbius over there

No. And I wouldn't want it to either. At the same time I did like those movies (MoS, BvS, ZSJL) personally I think they'll age better than the Gunn movie as well.
