I made a Letterboxd account and am suffering slop all because I am just too tired and depressed to play any more videogames and don't want to challenge myself in any way on my time off for a while.
It's a lazy medium in that it's either long shots of an actress holding one facial expression, long shots of scenery after there was already an establishing shots, shots of combat so short that they could just chop suey together any sequence they want, or endless dialogue. As was discussed in that long thread about The Peacemaker, they just phone it now, but before video games got really big, they didn't despite lower budgets. Now it's just slop writing slop audio mixing slop CGI slop everything.
Anyways what should I watch I need to get slopped up.

How are movies lazy when they combine books (the script), music and painting (motion pictures)?
It's not a lazy medium, it's just a medium that is hard to pull off and make quality art, because you need all of these elements to work.
