The idea per se is not bad, but the actor and character was pretty fucking awful in the movie. Also it seems like another "Gunn movie", ie a ton of B/C-tier list characters, a ton of jokes, etc.
If this new DCU wants to survive for more than 3-5 years they need to evolve past Gunn's style, nobody wants to watch another GotG with DC characters

I can’t tell if I like or hate that Gunn is shitting out a bunch of TV shows, obviously they’re not gonna have too much importance to the movies unless it’s like a sly reference like with Peacemaker but I dunno, it still feels obnoxious. I’d rather just get another Superman sequel honestly, I’m so over the idea of constant threads of tv shows and movies that all lead up to one another, it sucks
