Anyone else find this movie to be painfully dull?

It's a two hour long car chase with no dialogue, no story, no interesting characters and endless CGI slop.

I've seen enough car chase scenes to last a lifetime. I'd honestly prefer if they just put a bit of text on the screen describing what happened, saving us all a lot of time and probably millions of dollars.

Furiosa is completely unironically a better film in every fucking aspect. Seriously. Go watch Fury Road and Furiosa and look me in the eye with a straight face and tell me Fury Road is a better movie. It's just not, it's crystal clear. fury road is pure action throughout pretty much and s-tier action at that. i love me some cerebral movies but action scenes when shot and edited with competence and style can be amazing. put it like this, i love fury road, i despise the fast and furious movies. the style needs to be on point and fury road has it in spades.

furiosa is more story-focused which lends it more gravitas. sure. it also drags a bit, and the soundtrack is not as good. great action scenes tho. incredible movie. tough choice really.

I enjoyed seeing it in the theater. I rewatched all 4 last year and the Mel Gibson trilogy is so much better it isn't funny. Textbook definition of soul vs. soulless.

The esoteric ending, the mid actor they picked for the main villain, and the dissapointment of not getting to see the war make furiosa a bit worse to me, but it is a good movie anyway

I hated it the first time I saw it too because I was expecting some mad lore, but once I got what the movie was trying to do I loved it every time I rewatched it. It's so rich in detail, you always spot new things on repeat viewings.
