Or it could be.. you know, that whole swath of bad movies from both Marvel and DC? It didn't seem to stop Deadpool and Wolverine was doing well but someone it does here? Both Marvel and DC are at fault for killing the super hero movie when it was easily avoidable. Now international is reflective of what old super heroe movies did before the MCU started and the Raimi Spider-man films. You aren't getting peak super hero movie successes any more except for a few exceptions.

Does James Gunn realize that if America was more like other countries, he wouldn't have so much license to make all this capeslop; nor would he be so handsomely praised for it? The guy is making some of the most cynically commercial films on the planet, he's contributing to the decline of Hollywood as a cultural force, and he acts like he's Bertolucci.
