It had a funny plot if not trusting mysterious corporate entities that claim ti solve your problems. The was preying upon vulnerable men and women, and using them to their detriment. The product was, of course, provided free of charge. If something is free, you're the product.

It's fun -- although way too long for what it is -- and I really appreciate the technical work that went into it, with all the fleshy practical effects. What I don't understand is why people gushed so much over the conceptual side of the film, isn't it all just regurtitations of Cronenberg and Dorian Gray?

I think the world-building is really cool, having a commercial in-universe, the lockers, packaging for the substance equipment. That was all really well done and probably what people mean when they talk about the concept being cool. It sets rules and then explores all the questions you'd naturally have about then (what happens if they both wake up, one dies, if a clone takes the substance, how missing the spinal fluid shots affects the body)

It's great. Stop being contrarian.
It doesn't infact blame men for the things but Hollywood is painted as the bad guy, rightfully so.
In fact there's a guy who still likes her even as she's aging, she herself is not satisfied with her aging.
A cautionary tale for women.

>be Stacey
>get old
>non-chad guy hits on you since he thinks he has a shot now
>lose your mind and resort to dangerous chemical shit in order to regain beauty
They really do hate non-chads donโ€™t they?

It's Sunset Boulevard with a body horror twist
It's about one woman's refusal to accept aging and how it destroys her life, because she'd rather turn herself into a freak and die than accept that her tike in the limelight is over

it's hot, and tells women to not bog, also dunks on trannies (the ugly ones of course)
