Disney is wise to the "get woke, go broke" meme, they literally see it in their revenue stream now and they are aware. That's probably why we are even getting a Tron 3 because it's the last few untainted IPs that are left they can pull some bank from its cult followings.

The real problem I see with this movie is that its the same old story we've seen in a hundred different movies. "Super Soldier going rogue.", "Skynet is taking over", the "Who are you?" cliche (when the audience damn well knows what's going on before the cast members do).", "Legacy cast member being demoted to a mere plot device to keep the story going"; whether it's Bridges coming in to give 'fatherly' advice, or Sam and Quorra showing up in the third act and team up with Leto to push back the"Rouge AI 3D printed army"....

Only 'cool' thing about this movie, so far, is the Nine Inch Nails score...
