From double entendres, to witty political commentary, there was a time when the groundbreaking adult animated sitcom, "The Simpsons" was at the cutting edge of visual hilarity, and no, I'm not referring to the rough but charming animation style of the Klasky Csupo era. What I seek to bring about to the foray of modern comedy is what once was. The timely visual gags that sometimes were a blink and you'll miss it moment, that no doubt stayed in our collective consciousness all these decades later. So let's take a history lesson, shall we?
