>do not resist an evil personIf someone is trying to make you feel like shit or exert dominance over you and you just play right along with a smile, they're usually going to move on because they're looking for some reaction or a fight. In the case that they don't stop, other people around you will rally to your side when they see what's happening because it's clear that you're not instigating anything and the other person is the sole problem causing agent. You can even get to stuff like giving your money to a robber so they'll go away and not hurt you on the very extreme ends, but that's not an everyday kind of thing.

You should speak to people with grace and dignity and always seek to reconcile rather than rebuke. I think it speaks for itself as to why it's good advice.
