For me, they're fun little theater experiences if they look entertaining enough. Deadpool and Wolverine was fun to see in theaters and Guardians 3 was also a good time albeit with some forced sad beaver stuff. I remember when I was younger and The Avengers came out. I went opening day with my mom and the theater was fucking packed. Lines outside of each theater. It became a kinda tradition for me to see the new Marvel with my mom up until black panther. Both of us thought it was overhyped and felt like the marvel formula getting stale. It saddens me not to care anymore but nowadays I enjoy watching actual movies in the comfort of my room

I take tremendous satisfaction in ignoring all capeshit. The last capeshit I saw was The Dark Knight Rises. Everything after that? Couldn't tell you the first thing about it. I hide all capeshit threads. It's very easy to pretend it doesn't exist at all. And you're not missing out on anything. Have you ever met someone into capeshit who was worth knowing? Probably not. I treat Star Wars the same way.
