No. The running joke of that episode was that the cheesecake was so irresistibly delicious that Rachel and Chandler couldn't stop eating it, even when they accidentally dropped it on the floor. Then Joey shows up and instantly joins them, which is part of the show's running gag that that Joey is dumb and a bit gross/unsanitary.

Spawn has a scene where poor Americans eat food from garbage bins. Judge Dredd has a scene where the hacker guy was hiding in a "recycled food" service robot.

But normal Americans don't eat food from the garbage, that would be poverty-stricken Filipinos who recycle food from the garbage by cleaning the food before recooking it. At least Filpinos do not eat the cow dung and urine, that is what Hindu Indian pajeets do.

I did read in an essay where this one American writer was in poverty and resorted to hanging out behind pizza restaurants because he knew that he could get a fresh pizza that was cooked incorrectly. He just had to dig it out of the garbage bin/dumpster.
