I like to pretend Nightcrawler, Collateral and Drive all happen in roughly the same timeframe.

I call it the Nightcrawlerverse.

Unfortunately celebs + their PR have been exposed as way more powerful than papparazo, like the case of Lively-Reynolds. They have more resources to do crime than unscrupulous "stringers" selling pix from invading privacy of people who can hired armed security. As for politicians, only low-level ones get caught by paps.

It took too long to get going, the big climax was underwhelming, and the ending was unsatisfying, but somehow I still think it's pretty kino
