I'd say the guy with the time machine that he gets to run on trash is probably the better scientist. Also ghostbusters sucks. 1 and 2. Was never a funny franchise. Also makes a time machine out of train.

I knew somebody would say this. Yes he didn’t invent the trash part that makes the car run, but he did make it compatible with the Time Machine. In the first one he needs plutonium/the power of a lighting bolt/ a nuclear fusion reaction to power the flux capacitor. After going to the future and getting the Mr. Fusion, which makes cars run in the future, he’s able to integrate into the delorean’s system so that it powers the flux capacitor replacing the need for plutonium.
